BMDAM was established in 1976 and has been recognized as the national association for companies engaging in the business of supply and distribution of locally manufactured and imported building materials.

MALBEX 2008 will also feature a Concrete Pavilion for the first time since its inception. Concrete sector related companies include Arkan Building Materials Company P.J.S.C. The China Concrete Association, which represents major ready mixed concrete producers and concrete equipment manufacturers in China, is sending a delegation for the Concrete Week to explore business opportunities, establish contacts with leading industry players and also, the exchange of information on industry developments.
