Home \ Event Highlights \ Malaysia Concrete Week

The Malaysia Concrete Week, which aims to develop contacts and communications between the users in the concrete industry and its suppliers, will be held alongside MALBEX 2008, featuring a special Concrete Segment. The programme brings together speakers from various areas of the industry, with an analysis of economic trends and an update on the impact of regulations on the concrete industry; plus a look at how a concern for sustainability is manifested in the search for alternative materials, fuels, changing patterns of transport.

Leading consulting engineers, industry leaders and government officials from the region will share topical subjects like waterproofing, and the development of innovative designs to mitigate the impact of rising material price.

The Malaysia Concrete Week is being organised in association with the Asian Concrete Construction Institute and the Concrete Society of Malaysia from 27th – 29th August 2008.
