Largest International representation and 70 new exhibitors
MALBEX 2008 will feature 2 international pavilions from Taiwan and China and individual participations from Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, UAE, USA and Vietnam.
Expect to see a larger Taiwan pavilion, led by the Taipei Exhibition and Convention Association (TECA) with some 11 booths of innovative products and services while China maintains its sizable pavilion as the previous year.
MALBEX 2008 will also feature some 70 new exhibitors at the show.
Association Pavilion
MALBEX 2008 will also host participation from industry association pavilions namely Building Materials Distributors Association Malaysia (BMDAM) and group participation from the Malaysia Hardware, Machinery & Building Materials Dealers Association (MHMBA), Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association of Malaysia (MEMA) and Malaysia Fire Protection Association (MFPA). With the strong economic growth and positive market outlook, industry players can look forward to more specifications and procurement activities in the months ahead.

MALBEX 2008 will also feature a Concrete Segment for the first time since its inception. Concrete sector related companies include Arkan Building Materials Company P.J.S.C. The China Concrete Association, which represents major ready mixed concrete producers and concrete equipment manufacturers in China, is sending a delegation for the Concrete Week to explore business opportunities, establish contacts with leading industry players and also, the exchange of information on industry developments.
